Is there a way to do an antenna "delete"?

Personally, I don't listen to the radio......ever.....and my power antenna is also completely broken, so...........

For my music, I have a Pioneer DEH-2500UI headunit that is Pandora/Spotify compatible, along with full compatibility on my iPhone. It totally eliminated my desire to listen to the FM/AM radio anymore, and it also made my need using the "driving at 50 with my knees on the steering wheel and playing MP3 CD disc jockey" obsolete.

I was wondering if they make some sort of delete cap or similar, what I need to do to yank out the old power antenna and how....and lastly how I can make some sort of factory delete look?

    Thanks

I no longer own a w202 and I kick myself in the head every day for it...

I disconnected mine and left it down. doesn't bother me much. I use a Metra antenna in the quarter panel.

i removed the antenna and plugged the hole with a trunk liner tab. it has a merc logo on it also ! haha. And unplug the antenna motor also. and your're good unless you want to shave the antenna for the facelift W202 look.

What is a Metra antenna. My 1998 C230 has very little AM or FM reception, thought it might be the antenna.

My 98 C280 didn't even come with an antenna that I can even see. Not on the roof or the side of the trunk. I get above average FM and below average AM. It's a an odd car... I found an Ethernet plug in the passenger compartment?

Your car has antenna. It's just embedded in the glass of the rear windshield. If you pull the rear passenger c pillar cover you'll see a module that connect the antenna and your headset. The 'ethernet' plug is for the phone option.
