does any one on here have this set up?
i have H&R spacers on my c280 i pulled out the rear ones and placed them on the front rims of the c36 for the bigger 18 inch rims so that it wouldnt hit the upper thing thats that almost touches the 17" amg rim.
looks like it could work i just need longer bolts to fit with the spacers (i think)... can anyone help please

The W210 E55 Monoblocks should fit with no spacers and with the factory lug bolts. From what I can see you are using the E55 tire sizes (245 and 275) and that will not work, too much tire. You should be running 225/40R18 and 255/35R18 Even with these tire sizes there is very little clearance. The beauty of the E55 Mono II's is that there are no spacers and different lugs needed. Once you have reasonable tire sizes it should be a perfect fit. Not the most flattering picture but you can see how tight things are with the 225 and 255 set up.

i dont understand would i need new rims or new tires on my existing 18's can 255 replace 275 on the same rim? i thought it had to do with the width of the rim
im going to delete this after someone answers cuz i feel it is a very stupid question^

Yes, you need new tires. The smaller tires will fit just fine with an ever so slight stretch. The 225 fit the 8x18 and the 255 fit on the 9x18 perfectly.

i bought these rims because i needed tires, the rims were just sort of a huge bonus..... i wonder if the tires from my front rims on my 280 will fit.. i really dont want to spend money on more tires.. what if i just roll my fenders
this is how 18''s look with the 245/45R18 that i have on the rear of the c36 right now

My car is lowered on H&R springs. The C36 has rolled front fenders from the AMG factory as this was one of the modifications to make the car a C36. All w202's had the rear fenders rolled. On the black car pictured I had to trim the drivers side trim molding on the dogleg so clearance is tight even with the 255 size tire in the rear. Hate to say the E55 stock tire sizes which you currently have is just too much tire. Not only width but too much sidewall height.

definitely tires too big, as others have stated.
i have 18" that are even wider on mine, all stock suspension with no spacers. fits just fine.

too much tire!!!! id suggest 225/40 all around...
you need spacers!!!!! in the front....i just did this not too long and had some clashing of the parts your talking about go, 225 in the front 235 in rear, 40's!!
A man who knows how to, will always have a job, a man who knows why will be the boss....
Is it cone of ball for lug bolts for the e55 monoblocks
Already tried that they don't fit they need spacers
Hmm well hopefully it gets done tomorrow but thanks that pretty useful information
They said I need at least a 25 mm spacer In the front to it will not hit my caliper, there is no way it fits even if there was no tire on my car
That's another thing there is no specs written on them!
