    C280 W202 whining noise

Hi, i am looking for some advice, when i first start my car up there is a whining noise coming from the front of the car,it
quietens down a little when warmer.
I have changed the ina Deflection Pulley Drive Belt Tensioner also the drive belt with a ContiTech Drive Belt
,but alas this had made no difference, any idea what i should change or test next.

Hi I've taken a short video of the whining noise any help would be appreciated. Here's the link:

easy way of telling if its a pully going bad
take a long screwdriver (like this one http://www.toolplanet.com/product/Te...FeRlOgodIWoA-g )
and hold it to the pully (non-moving area ) and hold the handle twards your ear
you WILL notice a difference in sounds coming from the pullys it will help you find what one is squealing if that's the issue (vid wont play for me )
frankly anything long that is metal and has a handle will work
    hope this helps

    Thanks for the replies.
I have taken the drive /fan belt off the car as suggested and started the car up
but this has made no difference to the whining noise,
    any information would be appreciated.

    Thanks Paul

vid finally loaded that doesn't sound to be a pulley maby a vacuum leak ? metal expands when hot and retracts when cold
you said it goes away when warmed up right ?
this will help in how to do this prosess http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CPqbaSgcok
