Recommendation on meaty rear tires W202

Whats up everyone. I am working on another beater w202 project. I really like the 90s Koenig wide body kind of look with slightly bigger rear wheels with meaty rubber and I thought it could be cool to make something similar out of the C180 that I picked up real cheap.


I need a recommendation on which tire setup to stick with. So I came up with the 3 options:

225/50R16
245/40R17
245/50R16 (thickest)
