Finally finished blacked grill

Here is my blacked out avant garde grill!!! First i had to sand it all the chrome down, then you need to cover with primer, then you paint with coats and coats of 040 paint, then some kinda clear coat. Looks great and really glossy

What Kind of Paint r u using?

One More..Question:
WHat kind of Bulb that C43 fog light using?
Mine died.. I want to change it to the bright one.. if possible..

U know what its BLACK GLOSS ENGINE ENAMEL frome Schucks!!! My freind used it to paint some engine peices i couldent believe how shiney it was!! So i bought some today, used it on my eyelids and grill. Looks like stock paint! Make sure you get the BLACK GLOSS tho.

And the fog light bulb is a H1 bulb. I want to change mine to some blue xenon gas ones but dont know how to change it.

its a full grille, frrame and insert. Some of those grilles off of ebay are only inserts. u can get them ebay, bekkers, dealership

I have a 208 thats 040 black. I just got a spare grill for 70 dollars and im gonna paint it.

Will the black get really chipped if its sprayed with regular paint?

I can just bring it to a bodyshop, but im a prettty good do it yourselfer.

Basically yes it may get chipped, but not too mcuh matter where u drive. A bodyshop can do it too but they problay charge alot
