harman kardon traffic pro installed pics !

i hear this is the same nav units in the new land rovers. i just stuffed the antenna wire between the vents and trim and it fit behind the climate control without pinching it as you can see in the second photo

its not the neatest job but i dident want anything too permanent

the best part was it just plugged in ..no wiring harness required

Got to love I-94 in Detroit. Has that been fully re-opened yet? I was there for a wedding last summer and it really screwed people up on the weekend when it was totally shut down.

Oh yeah, nice install, so does this also play CD's?

I-94 needs some serious work to get it to be smooth sailing! At least they fixed some of it, now need to fix the rest west of Downtown.
Nice install BTW. How much did it cost?

The yellow lights are a little brighter than the rest of the car but you can have it reverse the lights when the headlights are on like a negative screen where the screen is black and the text is yellow..that tones it down and it matches up quite well.

For those grading on neatness.. ill install it better once its not so cold outside this weather sucks..

I also gotta take out my old changer cuz its not compatable. But its too cold for that right now too. I have a friend that works at Harman becker so I picked this up for 500$ brand new (employee discount is about 40-50% !). I think u can find it online between 700-1000 right now.. I even saw some on ebay that sold for around 400$

if i dident get such a deal i dunno if i would have bought it..

its all US but no canada harman says they dont have canada.. but my friend is looking into whats compatable. as long as i get eastern canada im happy im sure there is a disc out there
