    Folding W202 mirrors > non bling-bling

    Hey all-

I remember seeing a W202 with folding mirrors in a magazine. Are they only available in Europe, or do we have them here too?

    Part numbers would help too.

    Thanks!

mine are in a box, I plan on putting them on in the next two weeks.

first step is to drill a new hole in the center console for the switch

and get them from steve mbenznl or you'll pay way too much for parts at the dealer

If you're planning to get the folding mirrors get it from Steve.

Yes they do. MBenzNL has them on his 202 as well. And you can actaully order them from your US Dealership. Its even listed on their parts catalog.

I'll pull up the part numbers tonight.

Actually, not those. I like the W202 factory mirrors, but folding.

I just wanted to resurrect this thread. I contacted Steve awhile ago, and he does not have any. I guess I may have to go the Stealership route (or Tom ). Nokia, can you get me these p/n's when you get a chance?

    Thanks

    What about these: eBay item#7936568768

I like the W202 style better than the W210 style. I'd like to email this guy and ask if he could include the convex mirrors though.

Damn, I guess I didn't look hard enough. I was under the impression they were different. I thought they were totally flat across the top. My bad.

I'm still not much of a fan yet of the look of W210 mirrors, don't like the way they kinda curve upward, as opposed the the flat topped stock mirrors. Regardless though, the bling factor of folding mirrors still makes me want a set.

you should try buying them new from the dealership...my NON BLINKING folding 202 LEFTSIDE mirror has been ruined (about 9 months ago) by an uncoming car that came too close...and if that wasn't enough my pass side folding mirror was broken after I came back from my forlast US trip...
I did have the leftside in stock but not the rightside...just that one rightside already costs approx 450USD from the dealer by itself...and it gets delivered without cover and without glass (but power folding and with connector for an auto dimming glass).,
