Hopefully this thread will make sense to people. It is my understanding that the SC on a 99 230 is clutch activated and on my car is seems to activate a 3k. My question is that when I am cruising down the interstate is it better for fuel economy to run at 78mph and no SC or to run at 80 with the SC active? Hope that makes sense.

i think i read somewhere on this site that at highway speeds the supercharger shuts off unless its under heavy throttle, and i think the supercharger kicks in at 2g's not 3
