Well after many years, I've come across this problem the most. Between the driver's seat and the middle console and between the passenger seat and middle console, there's about a 2 inch opening for stuff to fall in and get trapped. My friends have called it "the black hole". I guess it's good for me when pepole drop stuff in there, since i become the new owner of the things dropped.
I was looking at my friends w202 sport, and i believe for his driver's side, there was some type of blockage from preventing anything from getting dropped in. Does anyone know where you can get this part?

dont know what its called but my old 124 had a cover. but my 202 sport didnt! and i found bout 18$ when i vac'd one time!

Wow, I thought I was the only one complaining about that problem! I have lost a countless number of things in between there. There has to be at least a dozen things still lingering around the "blackhole". From wrappers to a lost 10 dollar bill.

Do you know if this was an OEM part? if so, you might have some luck posting this request in the PArt Number section. Maybe some of the guys with an EPC can look it up for you
