The "wood" in your 202 is "wood".![]()
Hi, I would like to replace the "wood" in my 96 C220 with the real McCoy. I found a place online called Wood Dash Factory that says they have a kit for the C220 -- dash and shifter area only apparently; not the door pieces.
Anybody know of this company and how reputable? Anybody know of other companies doing this?
Is this a job I can tackle myself or should I have it done by a professional.
Jim

Like, Nokia said, your trim is real wood. That sounds interesting though, what type of look are you thinking of going for?

I bought a carbon fiber kit from them that replaced all my fake cf. The only piece that didn't fit that was way off was the shifter piece .
Well, I asked because the wood really feels and sounds like plastic to me. But I'll take your word for it. Thanks.
This place I mentioned had various wood, color, carbon fiber etc., choices. All in the $500 range.
