    Swaping Chasis On My C36 Need Your Advise...

    Got into an accident with my C36 and the body of the car is completely damaged. I found another W202 for $1500 and want to use the chasis only to rebuild my C36. Please offer me as much advise as possible in regards to swaping eginges trans missions etc.... Thanks!

    dunno if you already have someone to do the work... Where in NY are you? They guy that did my motor swap (and Carl's first) is a senior MB mechanic, and modern-day mb tuner enthusiast, who actually bought his C36 after the 1st owner totalled it ; he rebuilt the car and built the turbo motor (not rebuilt, built anew, as a turbo motor) himself. If you want the right guy to do the job, neither I nor Carl (coolcalrskiC43) could recommend anyone more highly. ...lemme know if you'd like to pursue contacting him to do the entire job.

    Good luck with your project, I hope it works out for you, but if for some reason you don't fix the car, please keep me in mind. I've been looking for C36 engine/harness/computer for a while and would be willing to buy yours.

    Modified C230, Sprayed Silver Strips, Updated Grill, Tinted all round, Lowered Springs, 17inch Rimms, K&N performance Filter, Performance chip and AMG exhaust Kit, Hella bixenons with Osram Bulbs
    Just in: Pioneer sound system, 2 1000 Watt Subs, 2 Amps, and 1 Head Unit...luvin the BASS
