im not sure... the spline may be the same... but the connections and the steering wheel controls may need to be wired... not sure

Just bought the w220 wheel...it is plug n play....the connectors are the same and you can also mount that ribbon behind the steering wheel to make the controls work

Could you share a picture so we can see how the w220 steering wheel fits? I'm also looking to get a different steering wheel, one with the burl wood on top and or bottom. so far the w140 600 sel or s600 I think will fit, but can't source one for cheap. Found bunch of w220 wheels online and in the junkyards and am wondering how it will look.

looks good from the side. Do you have the telescope wheel? wonder if the diameter is the same, since I'm taller and mine does not come with telescope wheel. Are the buttons connected to the comand unit? which comand do you have? I mean what did it come out of?

i.m sure the airbag works because there is not srs light on...the wheel is exactly the same diameter, its just longer with about 1/2 inches, and no, no telescopic adjustments...the comand is from a facelift w210...i still need the can bus adaptor for the steering wheel, other than that i have all the harnesses needed

Hi guys I am new on to this forum.

I have a w202 facelift, would I be able to fit the w220 steering wheel and get the steering wheel controls to work for my radio/Cd?

Nope. You'd need new cluster and radio too. Theres more to it than the wheel.

    Thanks for the reply.

I have an aftermarket dvd player installed already.

Just thought it would be nice to have steering wheel controls.

There are many companies in US that offer an express steering wheel core replacement, like these for instance. There are two options, it's either the same OEM steering wheel wrapped in new leather or carbon fiber, or a custom option: you send them your steering wheel by post and they refinish it with any leather/wood/carbon fiber on your choice. It's pretty good custom option, of course if you can leave your car without a steering wheel for a week.

    Kewl!

I'm looking at a later wheel with paddle shifter buttons to fit the W202 as I'm fitting a gearbox controller which accepts paddles in.

Good to know the S5/600 one fits!
