Hey I just installed a kenwood kvt-715dvd indash folding lcd unit in my car, and Im wonder where i should put the brain for the unit its about 6x6 inches and right now its wedged in between the passenger seat and the center console.

i installed my brain underneath the dash where the passengers feet are, there is a piece of metal down there thats attatched to the firewall, and running the cable to the HU is easy from that location too

i had the same head unit. i put the brain under the false floor as well, very simple and works beautifully.

#1 u dont need an antenna extension
#2 easy to run rca/remote straight back to the trunk via door sills

just pull up the carpet and there are 2 or 3 8mm bolts holding it in
