Woo cold a/c

Well I just got my windows tinted yesterday and the a/c sucked so I went down to auto zone and got some stuff called sub zero and someonemy friend i was with knew did it in for a cigarette. I didnt think that stuff would do anything but shits cold so im happy with my windows up in the blistering heat finally!!!

I hope this didn't have any sealing polymers and was just straight r134a, maybe with a bit of compressor lubricant. My dad holds some patents on polymers for A/C units. Nothing came to fruition on the patents and A/C specialist call them the "Death Kits". Basically they kill the bearings in the compressors. Stay from anything that says it will seal up leaks. New O-rings, hoses and condenser/dryer are the way to go before you ruin your entire system. Unless you really read up on what you are doing, don't put snake oil in that car. Again, just a recharge of r134a and lubricants, you should be cool, just watch the pressures. -Mark

It was r134a and the stuff was called sub zero. They guy assured it was the right stuff for it and i was rather desperate to get cold a/c since i couldnt put my windows down(fresh tint!) but hopefully you can assure me it was fine too.
