Does anyone know what the pen like device with a wire hanging out in the bottom half of the armrest storage compartment is ? Thought I would ask before I started poking around.

probably the wire for the phone that came in some models of 202...does your radio/cd player have a telephone button? my C43 has the wire but no phone...previous owner must have removed it.

Bingo its for the phone attachment. My C220 had it as does my C280.

Ah, okay. The previous owner pulled out the Bose system, so I did not even know i had a phone connection. Does anyone use theirs anymore

i want to buy another for mine and hook it up...i think it would be pretty fun

You see them on ebay but it is pretty useless since it is analog and most all cell is now digital (at least in the US). There is a conversion kit but it is really expensive and I am not sure how well it works with the w202.
