Hey guys, I've seen people post about an intercooler to replace the stock one to make some more boost with the colder air. I was wondering what size would be the biggest I could go, and it doesn't matter to me to take some stuff out and move some stuff

Read the intercooler thread, I think we went over it, also, you will need a new bumper.

Alright thanks, I'll take a look at it. Would one about the same size just make no difference?

First, read our thread.

Second, nobody in their right minds would make one that small. I have seen oil coolers that are bigger. The thing is puny. You will either have to cut the bumper or get a bigger one. It also worth noting that a big one at stock boost will make less power because you will have significant pressure drop off form a big intercooler. It may actually be better to get a water/meth kit instead.

I had a chance to read it last night and there's no way I want my car lookin like bugs bunny! lmao Is methanol injection hard to set up? I'd like to know more about it if you could explain some :)

Hard? no not really. AEM makes a decent kit. It will cost a few hundred bucks though. It will cool as well as any intercooler ever could, but its more expensive and it requires refilling the tanks every so often.

Do you have to do any special tuning to the engine?

No you shouldn't have to, although due to the cost of it I would do an intake, exhaust, header, tune and pulley before that.

I've done an ecu tune, and an exhaust on it already. The next step was going to be the headers and cold air intake because those pulleys are freakin expensive! 750 for a pulley or around 450 for headers and cold air intake is what i was thinking, but 1500 for supersprint headers is outrageous to pay.

Yeah $750, but probably worth it. Supersprint is way over priced. I know Ferrari headers that are cheaper. Nuff said. A buddy of mine is a good fabricator and he makes all of my stuff, he is one of a few people I let touch my car. I would recommend you find someone to fab you headers isntead of paying out the ass for supersprint.
