Harmonic Balncer

Has anyone replaced the harmonic balancer on the v6 c280s? ive heard they tend to go bad and need to be replaced around 80,000 miles?

There was a recall for all 112/113 engine harmonic balancers between 98'-01'. If done already, should never EVER have to be replaced again.
