car leaking

theres something leaking under my car, it seems like tranny fluid but when i check the fluid level it seems fine. its been leaking a little overnight for the past 2 days. what else could be leaking? and its not motor oil. its around where the tranny pan is.

get down underneath the car with a flashlight and look right between the front wheels. Poke around and see if you can see leaking/wet parts under there.

Apprently my "rear main seal" is leaking, but that's the part between the front wheels, kinda looks like the tranny. it was leaking a drop or two overnight, but then it stopped...I think the oil dried up and created a new seal. it's been fine for months now.

but i was quoted $3000 to fix that seal as they have to drop the tranny, replace the seal and the sump pump.
