is that the part number to the face of the caliper in the picture you have posted ? I think im going to just grab the calipers and rotors and see if it will bolt up and if so then purchase better rotors , rebuild the calipers and paint them.Originally Posted by anf6789
Those are the C36 calipers from a 96/97 (sl600). cant tell how similar they are, but maybe you can find some more pics of the S600 ones and cross reference...
Is the caliper anchor part of the hub assembly ? And of course will need new rotors as the ones on the w140 look way larger than mine. But how do i know weather or not they will work entirely? if they bolt up and fit. Will my brake booster , ABS, and all the brake system components work with them as well ? Given that I have a 96 and most the w140s in the yard are 95-97 it seems like. it should be almost a direct swap if not one already.
